Home — the entrance
Phangan Cat — Your Personal Guide to Koh Phangan.
Everything here is collected for a smooth, cool entrance to the island. A shimmering golden QR code — the cat's door — appears on the home page: whose code is it? Guess. Scan it to open the cat's door.
For human visitors the home page opens with an invisible-ink entrance ritual: a first tap starts the song “Remember”, the ink dissolves to reveal an Ishopanishad passage, then a “108% agree” button opens the site. Bots and visitors without JavaScript see this content directly instead.

A Cat Opens Quiet Doors on This Island
KO PHANGAN, MONDAY. — Reports have reached this newspaper of small rooms opening quietly across the island this season. Each room holds eight seats; one seat is always left open, for whoever arrives first. No sign hangs on these doors. No fee is asked at them. Membership, it is said, travels by invitation alone — and the invitation is never posted anywhere at all. The island, long famous for its full moon, is quietly filling with visitors of a different sort: people who do not drink and do not smoke, who came for a date with themselves and would not mind meeting someone on the same wave. The management, reached for comment, said nothing — being a cat.

Golden Code Appears on Island; Public Asked to Guess
KO PHANGAN. — A shimmering golden code has been spotted at a certain address on this island, glowing — witnesses insist — like sunrise caught in paper. Whose code is it? The famous cat's? The cat of the choco dealers? Someone else entirely? This newspaper makes no claim. Readers are invited to scan it and to guess. One warning, printed in the interest of public safety: the door talks back.

Sunrise Scheduled as Usual; Attendance Excellent
KO PHANGAN. — The sun rose again this morning over the southeast corner of the island, on schedule and without any paperwork whatsoever. A low golden hum was reported drifting from the direction of the jungle shortly thereafter; our correspondents describe the sound as «ancient, warm, and inclined to repeat itself.» Attendance at the sunrise was, in the words of one local, «more than yesterday, less than tomorrow.» The newspaper's official position on sunrises remains: recommended. From the same island family: I Love Thailand.

Cats Go Missing on This Island; the Usual Suspects Listed
KO PHANGAN. — Reports reach this newspaper with some regularity: a cat has gone missing. The island, it turns out, is large for a cat — full of jungle, waterfalls, and warm laps left briefly unattended. Our correspondents identify the usual cases. Musya, the island's most recognizable resident, takes walks and always returns to AUM. A nameless cat of the chocodealers — there are three of him — strays as far as the counter and no further, usually. Tiger visits the waterfalls to think, and thinks longer than expected. And sometimes an altogether unknown cat appears, in which case the Koh Phangan Conscious Community is asked to stand by. The newspaper's official position on lost cats: bring them back.

Island Reports Rise in Travelers Who Need a Card; Options Reviewed
KO PHANGAN. — Reports have reached this newspaper that more travelers than usual are arriving with a question once considered exotic on this island: «where can I pay by card?» The answer, gently: more places than last year, and fewer than you hope. Seven-Elevens, cafés with Wi-Fi, ferries of the larger kind and most delivery apps will take your plastic happily. Night markets, tuk-tuks, beach shacks and the aunties of the fresh-fruit stands remain strictly cash civilization — baht, preferably crisp. Ordinary bank cards from home work, but every cash machine taxes them 220 baht a visit. Multi-currency cards (Wise and friends) give honest rates. Crypto cards ride ordinary Visa and Mastercard rails and settle quietly in baht. One warning: if a terminal asks whether you would like to pay in your home currency — decline. Choose baht. The other button is a trap with a smile. The management, being a cat, pays in belly rubs and advises carrying both: a card for the counters, cash for the soul.

Lost Human — one cat, one human and 64 Gene Keys
A raw myousic story. One day one cat lost one human. The cat searches not by name or photograph, but through the 64 Gene Keys: each door reveals a human shadow, gift and siddhi; the cat slowly understands that the human was not lost on the island, but lost inside one of his own patterns. The journey moves from shadow through gift toward siddhi, until the cat recognizes the human by the frequency of his true nature. Sometimes a cat goes missing and a human searches the island; sometimes a human goes missing inside himself and a cat shows him the door. Available in English, Russian and Thai. Enter the 64 doors:
